Description

This is an error correction which only concerns Finland.

 We wish to make the following error corrections (preferably already) for FIN 2027 version:

 

  1. Remapping of some FIN proc codes, creating a new plus code and adding some new features to that code

Concerns the following proc codes:

  • NET60 Lantionpohjan rekonstruktio, muodostaminen
  • NET62 Lantionpohjan korjaus vierasmateriaalilla
  • NET64 Lantionpohjan korjaus kielekkeellä
  • NET66 Lantionpohjan korjaus vierasmateriaalilla ja kielekkeellä

 

Currently all these codes are mapped to a plus code NESJ90 Plastic reconstruction of lumbal base, which has been given OR 0 property.

In our opinion, the plus code should begin with NEST and the Finnish word Lantionpohja means Pelvic floor (not Lumbal base). Also, since it’s a question of a surgical procedure, OR 0 is not sufficient.

 

Our suggestion is to create a new plus code to which all four nat codes will be mapped:

We want to give the new code the following features:

2. Changing (unifying) the features of some MRI proc codes

Concerns the following proc codes:

  • AB6CG Hartiapunoksen laaja magneettitutkimus (ACDG00 Brachial plexus MRI examination)
  • JG1BG Peräsuolen magneettitutkimus (JGDG00 Rectum MRI)
  • JG1CG Peräsuolen laaja magneettitutkimus (JGDG00 Rectum MRI)
  • JG1DG Peräsuolen erittäin laaja magneettitutkimus (JGDG00 Rectum MRI)

 

We wish to:

  • RemovePROCPR 90D91 Dose design for radiotherapy of malignancy From codes ACDG00 and JGDG00
  • Add to code ACDG00  the following PROCRPs:
    • 01D02 Demanding diagnostic procedure of head, neck and central nervous system in MDC 01
    • 08D02 Demanding diagnostic procedure of head, neck and central nervous system in MDC 08
    • 21D02 Demanding diagnostic procedure of head, neck and central nervous system for trauma
    • 90D02 Demanding diagnostic procedure of head, neck and central nervous system for malignancy
  • Change the OR feature of the code ACDG00 from 0 to 2 (as is the case with all the other MRI codes)
  • Add PROCPR 06D32 Demanding diagnostic procedure of abdominal, retroperitoneal and pelvic organs in MDC 06 to code JGDG00

 

3. Removing the age limit for DRG 340O Kivesleikkaus, ei pahanlaatuista sairautta, lyhyt hoito (Testes procedures, short therapy, rule id 110D091100) as short therapy groups are not usually divided by age.
